The Meditation Ward is a space to learn and practice meditation, mindfulness and enhanced self-awareness.
Nadeya Ward has had quite the journey that has lead her into a meditation practice. After having lost a parent in adolescence to being diagnosed with bipolar II in her late 20s she has learned, unlearned and relearned coping skills which brought her naturally into the wellness world.
After graduating NYU, with a BFA in acting, her adventurous and unstoppable spirit took her to Los Angeles for 11 years. Unbeknownst to her, she did not end up in Los Angeles to become an actress, but to find herself in between the consistent waves of struggle and thriving in which that city facilitates. Within that seemingly never ending process was the true journey - learning sense of self and the relationship to the whole. Nadeya has learned and created techniques to give to others as well as to support them as they find their own.
Nadeya studied 500 hours of yoga with Tamal Dodge, of Yoga Salt, and an additional 300 hours with Sura Kim, of Sura Flow, to become a certified meditation coach. She is completing the Georgetown in the SCS Health and Wellness Coaching program April 2023.
She owns a yoga studio, 3S Yoga, in Richmond, VA and currently lives in Nashville, TN.
Life is always changing. Our bodies change. Our minds change. How do we drop in and find our truth within the constant change? How do we find our own answers and trust our choices? How do we become present and an active participant in our own lives?
There is no one answer, and The Meditation Ward is here to assist you in finding and upholding yours.
Coaching has been proven to help people make more lasting and sustainable change through thoughtful questions that lead them to their own answers and the support given in the coaching space. It's a beautiful experience and we hope you consider trying it!
